Well, Indiana will now be redistricted as well

saw a post where Gov Braun has called a special session of the legislature to redraw the districts to the surprise of no one. He acted like he was against the idea but I’m sure Trump called and whipped his ass so now he keeps acting like this is a must do thing for the state to continue to exist. Because as he said “other states are doing this so to maintain our voice we have to”.

No chance with the Gov doing a public campaign for it and Trump likely getting involved in pressuring that they don’t.

During the leadup, House Speaker Todd Huston and Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray have refused to publicly say where they stand. On Monday, Huston said in a brief statement that House Republicans had “received the Governor’s call for a special session and will continue having conversations within our caucus and with our counterparts in the Senate on our next steps.”

But a spokesperson for Senate Republicans, Molly Swigart, said Monday morning that “all I have to share is the votes still aren’t there for redistricting.”

Nowhere do they say "we're not doing that."

Let's stick to reality-fact-based points.

Currently Republicans hold 7 of the 9 seats so unless they go totally corrupt and take all 9 this is looking like a 1 seat change
