VA-GOV, VA-LG, VA-AG: Races Tighten in Virginia

A new Wason Center survey of Virginia likely voters shows tightening races across the statewide contests as Election Day is right around the corner.

In the race for governor, Abigail Spanberger (D) leads Winsome Earle-Sears (R) by 7 points, 50% to 43%.

In the race for lieutenant governor, Ghazala Hashmi (D) leads John Reid (R) by 2 points, 47% to 45%.

In the race for attorney general, Jason Miyares (R) now leads Jay Jones (D) by 1 point, 46% to 45%, following reports of a 2022 text messaging scandal involving Jones.

2. Jones dragged the whole ticket down.

He should have dropped out. Yes there’s no mechanism for a replacement AG candidate and I can’t stand Miyares but put Abbie in a tight tight spot. Virginia is usually a whole ticket election.

Abbie by 7 is the same as last week. Reid as LG could decide some tight votes.

Another recent poll had Spanberger up 14 points.

This post is nothing but an attempt to depress Dem voters turnout.

And all of these "Jones should have withdrawn" bullshit posts are fucking INSANE.

Sears has a history of violent rhetoric, including cosplaying with automatic rifles, and, THE ENTIRE RETRUMPLICAN TICKET supports the most vile and violent shitbag to ever darken the White House. Not only is his "rhetoric" VIOLENT, he is also directing violent ACTIONS including directing masked, armed thugs to snatch people off the street and teargas children and families going out to Trick, or Treat.

Where are the fucking calls for Sears, Reid and Mayores to "drop out"?

Quite a bit gets me exercised these days, but nothing gets me more pissed than Democrats being the ONLY fucking people in the God Damned universe REQUIRED to hold their politicians accountable.

Know why I will VOTE STRAIGHT DEM TICKET FOR THE REMAINDER OF MY LIFE? It's because I know that if Jones, or ANY other Democrat steps out of line in office, it will be Dem voters that will be the first to run them out of town on a rail.
