MSNBC becomes MSNow News on 11/15

https://people.com/msnbc-reveals-date-for-new-name-ms-now-11837581

MSNBC is about to undergo its major rebrand after months of teasing a change.

The news network announced in August that it would be switching its name to MS NOW — which stands for My Source for News, Opinion and the World — once it officially splits from NBCUniversal. On Monday, Oct. 27, network president Rebecca Kutler revealed that the new moniker is now scheduled to go into effect on Saturday, Nov. 15.

"This moment comes after months of meticulous planning and thoughtful collaboration across every corner of our organization," Kutler, 46, wrote in a memo to MSNBC staffers. "We are facing it head-on, and our success in the months and years ahead will depend on our innovation and entrepreneurial approach."

. . .

MS NOW will air across all major cable providers, select streaming platforms, and online. Those viewing MS NOW's programs on their television can find them at their regular channel numbers, or by using their provider's channel finder or guide. Air times for MS NOW shows will not change, per the release.

people on MSNBC moving on to other things. I don't know who or how soon, but it will be happening. Who will be first? I'm betting it will be Nicolle Wallace. Trump hates her with a cold black hatred.

Or like something you’d find on a cheap piece of clothing from Temu or some other poorly translated thing from China.

The branding is just terrible.

I'm sticking with podcasts, they aren't told what to report and ignore from $$$$$ deep pocket corporate traitors.

as it completes its separation from NBC.

I have to say the hires they've made are pretty good. Carol Leoning is a top notch reporter, same with Phil Bump. I'm happy to hear Vaughn Hillyard covering congress rather than the insufferable and smug Garrett Haake. No more Kornacki either, Ali Velshi did the numbers last Tuesday. It's refreshing.

She just doesn't have her own show any longer.

MSNBC/NOW no longer has a studio in Miami which is where Katie Phang broadcast. I think she'll still be a contributor though.

I think the ship has sailed with Joy Reid
