I seem to recall a story about Mike Johnson using the nuclear option to swear in two newly elected Republicans

I have been trying to find that story and can't I'm sure I'm not imagining this does anybody know of this story and how to find it. T.i.a.

The so called nuclear option is a Senate concept related to overriding the 60 vote filibuster.

However Johnson did swear in repubs while the house was not in session... (proforma)... he lied and said he cannot swear in the Democrat.

That term refers to suspending existing senate rules in order to force a vote on a bill or a rule change, without requiring a cloture vote of 60 votes to end debate.
