One off the cuff comment about not running for a third term and the media treats Trump's word as gospel.

Why would anyone believe this pathological liar? Tomorrow he'll be talking about hos 2028 reelection team.

He's a dementia addled, doddling old man who think's he's king. Why does the media keep treating him otherwise?

The media has had since 2015 to figure this shit out. (Or if you prefer, "The media has had since 2015 to figure out this shit). There is little evidence that the media will get better, especially given Trump's efforts to control what they say.
