TBN would follow up with its own countersuit, claiming that McGraw and his production company Peteski of a “years-long fraudulent scheme that they developed and executed to fleece” the TV conglomerate. Trinity Broadcasting also accused the talk show host of “reprehensible conduct” in negotiating a 10-year/$500 million deal by creating a “false sense of urgency” when he approached the broadcaster about starting a new network following his departure from CBS.

A day before Merit Street filed for bankruptcy, McGraw formed a new venture called Envoy Media, which would essentially deliver the same content as Merit Street across television and digital platforms.

The Professional Bull Riders league joined TBN in objecting to the “bad faith” Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, claiming Merit Street “orchestrated” the bankruptcy to avoid litigation. PBR claims that Merit Street owes it $181 million after reneging on its deal to air the league’s programming, which PBR pulled from the network last November after saying the association had never been paid. ....

I was taken aback at the length of the Wiki bio and the sources that support it. You can bet the people who wrote that bio knew how he would respond, so they thoroughly documented it to cover themselves.

It sounds to me that he's trump-like in the sense that he craves attention. In reading through the bio, it's hard not to conclude that he watched the news and looked for every possible opportunity to insert himself into the scenario. Brittany Spears? Really?

And ICE raids? Come on already?!!

This would be to no one's good because the evidence that he fails to practice psychology in any ethical or humane way is solidly been demonstrated and documented by others. Nevertheless, he even conned the American Psychological Association. I can't imagine who researched that nomination.

Oprah was really a sucker for him. She launched his career and has stayed with him, though we know they must certainly diverge on politics.

As you read the history of his various televsion series exploits, it becomes obvious he's going downhill (major clue: selling nutritional supplements!) , finally resulting in this bankruptcy. And after he scammed them for $500 million, too. He's a crook in the style of trump.
