I just finished reading a novel by Blake Crouch ("Snowbound"; honestly not a very good book - formulmaic and no where close to his better stuff like "Dark Matter", "Recursion" and "Upgrade" or the "Wayward Pines" trilogy) and in that novel a major plot point is how organized crime had set-up a sex-slave operation at remote lake cabin in the Alaskan Bush, and was kidnapping women to be held as sex slaves and enducements to get rich people (read - RICH WHITE MEN) to fork over Millions in admission for weekend trips where they are permitted to "do whatever you want", but warned they cannot kill the women. The story is not worth going into greater detail and the plot holes are as big as Alaska itself, but the central premise is very clearly either influenced by Jeffrey Epstein's island or was prescient in ways that I shudder to consider.

The larger point is that it would be the least surprising thing in the world to me to find out that the REAL reason Trump wants to supress and hide the Epstein files is that there was no so much sex acts and debauchery naming him (everyone already KNOWS Trump is a sexual deviant, rapist and creep anyway) but that there was financial consideration exchanged between he and Epstein that profited Trump at the expense of ruined lives and abuse of teenaged girls. Trump is a convicted sexual predator and rapist. He BRAGS about it freely and on tape. He is fighting with everything - including disinforamtion, frivolous prosecutions and vengeance seeking, and even tanking the nation's economy to hide his involement being told chapter and verse.

Just imagine the stress on your heart and life if you KNEW you were guilty of things so heinous and depraved that THOSE THINGS bother you more than what is ALREADY public record for your sick behavior. The truth will eventually be known and Trump is going to be a case study in worse-case results for both political campaigns and for executive administrations for hundreds of years - but the man himself? He will become a sick pervert in the shadows of history - scorned and mentioned only as something to AVOID and never allow again.
