The Best Strategy For Democrats To Win The House

Start the process to redistrict in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, New York, and any other Democratically controlled state that I missed.

Don't tell me those states can't. I was told that California can't.

Let's get moving Democrats. There are 9 possible Magat states that may gerrymander.

California should have gone for more than 5 seats.

The Oregon state legislature, despite having a Democratic majority, is struggling to pass a budget because they want bipartisan support (the budget is particularly tricky this FY because the DOGE cuts and other clawbacks have severely affected federal funds coming into the state).

So, I wouldn’t put a lot of hope into gerrymandering Oregon.

Best bets besides CA are IL, and I think I heard Maryland? was thinking of redistricting, which would flip one seat.

Current generic ballot polls have Dems 9 points ahead, and they only need 3-4 points to overcome the disadvantage from projected gerrymandering.

A year from the economy will be in recession, and suffering will be widespread and crossing all political and demographic boundaries.

My sense is Dems odds can only get better.

Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and New York.

Not a good source I guess?

If he says it’s feasible, maybe it is.

My info on Oregon comes from my son who lives in Portland, and is very politically active and informed about his state.

I have read that NY has some constitutional obstacles, but redistricting could net 3 Dem seats.

I don't get it; if the Red States are doing it, what's the hesitation?

start focusing on promoting our policy directives and how they are better instead of playing games with gerrymandering?
