There won’t be any spectacle of Trump trying to host the Dodgers for a photo op and a cheap, lousy meal of Quarter Pounders. We won’t be subjected to another one of his stupid, rambling “speeches.” He hates LA anyway.

I’ll get a lot of satisfaction of the Blue Jaya welcomed and paraded in Toronto as hometown heros. A real thumb in Trump’s eye.

Up until now, the only American team which lost the World Series to a Canadian team is my beloved Phillies. Worse, it was a walk off home run that defeated them.

I would like to see the Dodgers join this rather exclusive club.

The Braves lost to Toronto the year prior. That was a really good Jays squad in the early 90s going back-to-back like that.
