NJ-GOV: New Jersey Governor's Race Looks Very Close

A new Emerson College poll in New Jersey finds Mikie Sherrill (D) barely head of Jack Ciattarelli (R) in the governor’s race, 49% to 48% with just 2% undecided.

There have been polls which show the opposite so hopefully this is just not accurate at all .

* Political bais of the polling organization or media?


Let's say it is that close. At this point its all about GOTV and who has a better ground game.

especially property taxes.

Jersey has one of, if not the highest, property tax rates in the country.

The Pubs are campaigning on slashing property taxes, which sounds good to low information voters.

We get some Philly TV stations, which are loaded with NJ campaign ads, so been somewhat in the loop on this one.

Has another poll taken within the same time period has Sherrill with a 3-point lead with a smaller margin of error. No recent poll has Ciattarelli ahead.
