Petition: "Force a vote to release the Epstein Files!"

Demand Progress.org

Petition to the U.S. House of Representatives:
"We urge you to sign the discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files, and to vote to release the files when the measure comes to the House floor."

Last week, Arizona filed a lawsuit against the U.S. House of Representatives over House Speaker Johnson's refusal to seat Adelita Grijalva, the representative for Arizona's 7th Congressional District.
Even some Republicans are now calling on Johnson to follow the Constitution and seat the representative.

Johnson didn't delay when two Republicans won their special elections earlier this year - he swore them in the very next day.
The House must pressure Johnson to seat Grijalva, force a vote, and release the Epstein file

Johnson knows that a vote to force a release of government information about the crimes and accomplices of convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein could do major damage to Trump and his powerful friends.

We must ensure our lawmakers hold Johnson and Trump accountable to the public -- they must swear in Grijalva now and force a vote on releasing the Epstein files.

Sign the petition: Urge your U.S. Representative to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files.

by Virginia Guiffre from a book of "known Epstein associates", 8 years after the fact, when she was being shown them by a reporter, circa 2010?

Same way she picked out Dershowitz, who she eventually admitted she may have misidentified when she finally dropped her suit against him in 2022, with no money changing hands?

Or Lex Wexner, the billionaire former Republican who has been a Never-Trumper since 2018, who had been under suspicion due to his very close business relationship with Epstein?

Or maybe Bill Clinton, who nefariously borrowed Epstein's plane a number of times, while accompanied by the Secret Service? Or Jes Staley at JPMC, named in the victims case against JPMC, who has apparently never made significant political statements or contributions? Or renowned MIT Scientist Marvin Minsky, who is also associated with no political party/partisan viewpoint, also picked out of a photo book by Giuffre, if memory serves?

I keep reading about "Trumps powerful friends" being in the crosshairs, stated as if this is some known fact, but I'd sure be interested to hear just WHO people think these powerful friends are?

I think Trump 100% controls whatever Epstein information is going to be released at Congress' request. The SCOTUS will back his decision if it comes to that. I don't think he's worried about 'the files' much at all. I think the worst piece of evidence against Trump, the birthday card, has already come out, a limited hangout courtesy of Murdoch via the WSJ.

To my knowledge, I am sole person on the planet who thinks that card was a blackmail threat, because Epstein knew Trump was laundering Russian money thru his FL properties at the time, and Trump knew Epstein was paying minors for sex, and lots of them. Epstein told Wolff he strongly suspected Trump was doing so in an interview before he was arrested, in fact. That is to say, afaik, it's 'my idea'. One I'm amazed nobody else has apparently even considered but that I think makes a tremendous amount of sense. And explains why he does display some reticence about this info coming out. He didn't just 'know and not saying anything', he tried to use it for his own benefit. I don't think this is a far-fetched theory

Anyways, I think Johnson is refusing to seat Grijalva because he wants to see what happens if he doesn't. More accurately, I think Trump wants to see what happens if he doesn't. What will public opinion be? What will the courts do? What will Arizona do? How long can he get away with it? I think it's actually a trial balloon to see if they can delay seating ANY of our Representatives, including when January 2027 rolls around.
