I also thought 40% was rather high. But the number is -40% and that’s the difference between those in favor of him minus those against him. So if it’s 30% liking him and 70% hating him, then that difference is this -40%. We want to see an even LARGER net approval rate. I suspect by next January this net approval could be -60%.

I've always voted since I came of voting age at 18---
at least for every Federal election since, so far as I can remember....

(I might have missed one or two off-year city elections
where there were no interesting races--- but I can't say for sure on that---

Statewide and/or primary elections, (which happen congruently in Michigan),
I know I missed at least one, many years ago....
when the car-chaser far-left lawyer won the Democratic gubernatorial primary,
and subsequently lost to the incumbuent GOP Governor, Engler
(whom I referred to as "Mengele".....)

I thought Republican politicians resembled NAZIs,
before it was popular......

Were reaganites in their formative years because their dumbass boomer/SG parents moved them that way. I can't remember how many time they would bash Carter due to the Iran hostage crisis or gas prices - all things they heard their parents say.

Alt-rocker Cherie Westrich’s journey may seem unusual, but given the strange political arc of her generation, it might not be.
