Marjorie Taylor Greene to visit 'The View'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is slated to appear on ABC’s “The View” next week.

The firebrand Republican lawmaker is known for her loyalty to President Trump and frequent media appearances, which she often uses to promote the president’s agenda and attack Democrats, media figures and prominent liberals.

Greene will join ABC’s daytime table talk program on Tuesday, Election Day, and is sure to face tense questioning from the panel, most of which are vocally opposed to the president and GOP.

“The View” has likewise been a frequent foil for conservatives. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr cited the show’s content as he expressed openness to scrutinizing ABC’s broadcast license.

Greene has been critical of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) in recent weeks as the government shutdown persists and rising health care premiums become more likely amid the funding stalemate.

In 2024, Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a motion to vacate against Speaker Mike Johnson, but the motion was quickly defeated by a vote to "table" it, a procedural move that kills the resolution.

The 2025 House rules package was changed to raise the threshold for forcing a motion to vacate vote to nine members of the majority party, making it harder to trigger a vote.
