Some of the schools are in lockdown, or so I'm told.

My daughter is already terrified of ICE. Now, the ICE f**kers are expanding their raids on Halloween.

The neighborhood association here is actively discussing alternatives to standard trick-or-treating.

F**king inexcusable.


Update - I just ran into a neighbor who was walking back from a nearby school. She was wearing a whistle around her neck, and she was one of the parents who volunteered to assist with dismissal at the school. It's an elementary school, but ICE dirtbags were seen nearby.

I suppose it's heartening to see the community come together to resist what's going on.

There was an accident near here involving an ICE vehicle and a resident's car. The agents evidently arrested someone in the car.

but the fact we have to "put up" with them violating our rights, terrifying our kids, brutalizing seniors and treating nobody with the human dignity they deserve just because they're human... it's offensive to any thinking, caring individual. And no matter what trump and his police goons (of any stripe) try, they are NEVER going to make the whole country turn on each other. Yet, that's what they're trying to do. his spawn, Jared, the Republican Senators, Republican House members and the Republican Supreme Court Justices should get their individual cells at Colorado Supermax.......(they spend 23 hrs a day alone, in their TOTALLY concrete cells. Concrete stool, concrete bed with a pad, tiny concrete table, and a combination stainless steel toilet/sink........ Their meals are served through a slot in the door, the cell is insulated so there is NO ability to communicate with other prisoners, no yells back and forth between their cells. Absolutely NO emails, cell phones, texting...NO communication at all with the outside world. I don't think they are even allowed a tv or radio, NO view from the window except upwards at the sky. Visitors once a month, supervised? and only their attorney can visit them with time/date reserved way in advance.
It is worse than the death penalty, prisoners have said.......Alone, in total isolation, for the rest of their lives, left to rot in their cell until that happens.
The two guards aren't allowed to speak with them when they chain them up for their trip to the shower and tiny exercise yard for an hour each day......
The small exercise yard is inside with really tall concrete walls and with a roof? so they can't even see the sky .........

They guy that bombed the federal building killing a 100+ Men, Women, and Children was sentenced there instead of the death penalty. After six months in Colorado Super Max, he was begging the court for the Death Penalty, which they granted....He was shown that Super Max was far far worse than death........

It DID happen here, but that was 80 years ago, and the whole country was bombed flat for it.

These days, if ICE were to show up in its present form, they would be arrested immediately, and any of them found to be armed would get an automatic 5 year minimum sentence (that's the law here for any and all offenses committed with a firearm).
