FBI Director Kash Patel @FBIDirectorKashThis morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend. More details to come. Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.
Its not immediately clear when or where in the state the suspects were planning to carry out the attack. Patel also didnt specify the charges the suspects are facing. Five people from Dearborn and Inkster, Michigan, were taken into custody in connection with a plot linked to ISIS extremism, law enforcement sources told NBC News.
However, officials at the FBI and the Justice Department are allegedly frustrated that Patel posted about the Michigan terror investigation before a criminal complaint was prepared and details were clear, MSNBC reporter Ken Dilanian reported.
We want to assure our residents that there is no threat to the community at this time, authorities wrote in a Facebook post. The Dearborn Police Department remains committed to the safety and security of all who live, work, and visit our city.

Federal agents took five people from Dearborn and Inkster, Michigan, into custody for an alleged plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. that has a connection to ISIS extremism, according to three senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation.
The five are naturalized citizens from a Middle Eastern country who had access to firearms and firearm training, two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation say.
Three senior law enforcement officials say that no specific targets have been identified so far in the course of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
The officials said the group had discussed carrying out some sort of terror attack around Halloween or what they allegedly referred to as pumpkin day. The officials said that was why the FBI made the arrests Friday, even though it was not immediately clear if the suspects had decided on a set time to try to move forward with any attack.

...I can't be the first to point out what a clown show this is, but, a few points.
I have a vague idea what 'crushing it' is supposed to mean in the vernacular of a teenage boy. I'm not sure in what context Patel's exclamation is to be taken, but ot appears he stepped out in front of the career people in his department (again) to grandstand in a way that has the potential of befouling the investigation or any prosecution.
No risk, says the police.
Spokesperson for the FBI office in Detroit 'noted that there is no current threat to public safety.'
No specific target, but an "alleged plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. that has a connection to ISIS extremism, according to three senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation," say three senior law enforcement officials.
"Crushing it."
...wonder how Patel's 'crushing' other identified threats in that same community?
(Washington, DC October 1, 2025) The Shia Muslim Foundation strongly condemns the recent threats targeting the Islamic Institute of America in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Reports confirm that a caller threatened to burn down the mosque and, in one instance, issued a bomb threat. Local authorities have responded, with Dearborn Heights Police and the FBI opening a joint investigation.
After his arrest, when officers asked if he intended to carry out an attack, he said he wouldve done it if he had better eyesight. He is also quoted saying he would use an AR-15 and target a mosque in Dearborn.
He also posted online comments referencing murdering Black citizens and people who practice Islam, and made connections to Dylann Roof in his rhetoric.
This is not an isolated incident, said Rahat Husain, Executive Director of the Shia Muslim Foundation. Shia mosques across the United States have increasingly faced threats and harassment. The targeting of houses of worship is an assault on religious freedom itself, and it demands urgent attention from every level of government.

From his using the FBI jet for a date night and getting caught. He's lying about this alleged terror attack.
Because lying is his job.
