Remember the movie "Canadian Bacon"?

Directed by Michael Moore in 1995, it starred Alan Alda as a U.S. President who hopes to juice
the economy and his approval rating by starting a cold war with Canada. I didn't see it back then
because I thought the premise was too silly. Boy was I wrong.

Also, Wag The Dog.

We know Trump doesn't read, but he sucks up a lot of media and has movie star envy. Even makes his own weird fantasy mini-movies with AI. Reminds me of the song lyric "I dreamed I was in a Hollywood movie, and I was the star of that movie..."

The man is criminally insane and lives in a fantasy world he is trying to make a reality. Or is it Stephen Miller's fantasy world?

There's a great concept there for a movie, and it as a few laughs and nice scene or two. Sadly, neither the shoestring budget nor the thin script did it any favors.

Niagara Falls was my hometown, so there’s that, but John Candy was such a genius.
