People fucking hate this guy. They fucking hate ICE. They fucking hate how much power he has. 63% overall disapproval

People fucking hate this guy. They fucking hate ICE. They fucking hate how much power he has. He is at 63% overall disapproval to 37% approval. That's lower than their poll after January 6th. And this poll was done before he started intentionally starving people. I wish our media would reflect this.

They assume that because a politician has not done any of these horrible things against their own citizens that they somehow are incapable of doing so. That somehow the office presidency is not such a powerful office.

Seeing what is happening now, I hope people are throughly taught an important lesson about it...

It needs to assume that there will be people with selfish intentions that will attempt to misuse the system.

Enforcing the insurrection clause of the 13th Amendment would be a start. Clarifying that encouraging and permitting a riot to interfere with electoral machinery is disqualification for office. For starters, and that is mild.

...his floor is likely 25%. The true believers/cultists.
So, this means that only 12% out of the remaining 75% approve. That's 86.7% of the "persuadables" that disapprove.

I figure 10% of the population cares about nothing but low taxes. That only leaves another 8% to reach the floor.
Seems too low.

They polled a "representative sample of US adults age 18 or over". In other words, probably around one third of these voters likely did not vote in past elections.

What the poll seems to show is that Trump's base is holding steady, but that the disaffected third have heavily swayed against Trump. Whether that will cause these apathetic voters to vote is a different issue. An issue which pollsters never seem to address.

Not just at the federal level but the state and local ones? Where I live, the fucking churches have a stranglehold on local politics and I live in California. We have got to fire these psychopaths, but the propaganda and the level of brainwashing going on in this country is too strong. And not just fire them, make them unwelcome.

They are trying to get away with everything they can all at once because the writing is on the wall.

Trumpublicans utterly nixed the third term bullshit because they need him to be a lame duck they can begin to move away from.

MTG isn't the only self-interested Trumpublican who sees how the winds are blowing.

The rebuke in the tariffs was massive. Trumpublican members of the House are shaking in their boots at the prospect of being forced to go on the record for or against the despised tariffs.

Among those who won their seats by less than ten point, little cracks are likely to rapidly become big cracks. Particularly if the election today is a rebuke that is in line with the polls.

In that case, even those who have a 15 point advantage are going to be getting very, very, very nervous

He said he was going to be worse and people still voted for him.

Somehow, people saw our candidate as less appealing than a monster.

What does that say?

Almost all of this could have easily been avoided and people were like “nah, I’m not voting.”
