though not being from or having ties to Virginia, I've not paid attention to that one. I'm from NJ, so I've paid quite a bit of attention to that race and the NY Mayoral race. And my sisters live in PA, so the Supreme Court race has been on my mind. Plus, the Prop 50 race has important implications for next year and beyond.

For Democrats to get a full clean sweep we need a Virginia attorney general win as well. I feel less optimistic on this race as the others listed. All are important, but I want a clean sweep!!

I give Spanberger credit for sticking by Jay Jones. The words he said that got him into trouble were ill-advised but no worse than the garbage that comes out of Trump's mouth every day. I remember his musing about a "2nd Amendment solution" for Hillary Clinton.

and live in north coast California county in area subject to boundary changes.

The New York mayor vote is more critical and interesting especially for future of the Democratic Party.
