PA, Voter ID law

I was asked at my polling place for ID. I told them it was illegal to ask for ID in PA. They wanted to give me a provisional ballet.
So not wanting a provisional ballet I showed them my ID. When I got home I called the DEM voting hot line and they sad you don't need to show ID in PA unless you haven't voted in years or first time voting at that location or you changed your name. None of this applies to me. The DEM voting hotline filed a complaint. I think they singled me out because I let it known that I'm no MAGAT. If anyone has a problem call 1-833-DEM-VOTE and file a complaint.
