I sent the following message (via e-mail and phone call) 3 days ago to my Republican congressman. Of course, I don't expect it to make much difference. I've also suggested that all House members NOT be paid (and money clawed back, if necessary) for all the days they were MIA.

Day #33 of the Trump/Epstein shutdown. I’m urging you to pressure Squeaker Johnson to swear in duly elected Adelita Grijalva of Arizona to the House of Representatives. Johnson has sworn in other new members during pro forma sessions. His excuses are just blatant lies to protect Trump from the release of the Epstein files. Residents in Grijalva’s district currently have no representation despite doing their duty to elect her. I would also suggest that you offer up to your fellow House members a motion to vacate, initiating a vote to remove an incompetent and sycophantic leader from his position.
