The Results of Yesterday's Election Are Promising, but

they don't mean we're free and clear. Not by any means. Odd-year elections just don't reflect much in future major elections. They just don't. We should be saying, Yay, but we should be thinking about the next challenges and planning how we will win in 2026.

It's nice that Democrats won some local elections. I like that very much. But those elections are pretty much irrelevant to the races next year.

Look ahead. Plan ahead. Think ahead.

It does give us some momentum going into midterms. Kind of like scoring at the end of the half in a game you are losing. Silent Type Nov 2025 #7

Newsom showed that if you fight, you can win, and many others did too.

For those that didn't think that was the way, now they know.

Democratic representatives that don't want to battle should just not run.

Trump has gotten elected twice, hasn't he? I guess we forgot those times to vote for the Democrat who was running. Or something. Someone was sitting on their hands. Maybe they "just didn't like" Hillary, or "just couldn't vote" for Kamala. I don't know...

A lot can happen, and it's stupid to count trump/MAGA out.

But it's a much-needed break from the sh!tshow we've been witnessing every day since January 20 of this year.
Let people enjoy the taste of victory for ONE DAY, will you?

"But those elections are pretty much irrelevant to the races next year." I couldn't disagree more. They are a reasonable bellwether....

"Look ahead. Plan ahead. Think ahead." No reason to think that's not happening. Nothing like a good series of victories to propel momentum....

Have a good day!!
