(who actually spent close to half a million dollars of his own cash) to become the new Democratic mayor of Buffalo, NY. Final vote Ryan 71%, Gardner 24% and a third candidate got the rest of the vote. An astonishing outcome considering Ryan was outspent, one Ryan sign to every 2-3 Gardner signs, and the Gardner campaign spent a considerable amount of money going after the Muslim vote. It also didn’t help that Gardner actually said during his debate with Ryan that he would welcome the orange felon’s masked goon squads into our city. What a fool.

a few decades now, so not surprising at all.

Albany elected their first black mayor and she is a woman. Replaces a woman. Both D’s.

City of Troy, which is in heavily Republican Rensselaer County flipped City Council to D majority.

The statewide Prop 1 passed. It involved land usage in Adirondacks.

Dems did very well in Allegheny county, lots of wins in council and school board seats.

Not quite as good in conservative Westmoreland county, but wins there, too.
