According to the report, filed by a member of the Charleston County Aviation Authority last Thursday, police officers were scheduled to meet Mace at 6:30 a.m. local time at the ticketing area to bring her to her gate. The officers, who began waiting 10 minutes prior to her arrival, were informed that Mace was running about 15 minutes behind schedule, but they did not move from the entrance, the report says.

Mace, however, walked in through a separate door, to which the officers arrived “in less than a minute” to find Mace “very irate,” according to the report. Mace then “began loudly cursing and making derogatory comments” toward them and airport security.

“She repeatedly stated we were ‘F---ing Incompetent,’ and “this is no way to treat a f---ing US Representative,’” the report reads.

“She also said we would never treat Tim Scott like this,” it added, referring to Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.).
