Is we pull them two days before expiration and freeze them. I'm assuming that is what has been done here. She probably has a line of people waiting while she makes this quick video.

I imagine she buys in bulk like you said. She has a food truck. Too bad I don’t live close by to buy from her truck.

But buying in bulk makes more sense for what she is doing. Where I work we have local food banks that pick up every day. We pull all perishables one to two days before sell by date. We freeze all meat and anything else that can be frozen. We have been doing this for the 20 years I have been working for them. Flowers are donated to another group who makes arrangements for assisted living and hospice.

in several neighborhoods. Neighbors fill them with donations and she does as well. They are up all year long. She also collects coats for the homeless.
