The only big crush I can think of for me was Sully. Remember him? Sullenberger. He was the guy who landed that plane in the east river. All the passengers were standing on the wing.

Later it came out that he had done extensive planning and preparation work to be able to save a plane when it got in that situation. I was floating on air when I heard that.

At the time I was teaching a class on leadership. I recall building an entire class session around the kind of leadership demonstrated by Sully.
