The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

give the orange man and his party everything they want......they win. This isn't a "degree" kind of thing.

The ACA subsidies will be gone (yeah, they'll get to vote on it....but the result is a foregone conclusion, especially since the same merry band of turncoats will vote against it along with every last Republican. Heck, that little band might just join Republicans in fully removing the ACA. It isn't even particularly unlikely anymore.

The one horrible silver lining of having all dickhead Republican reps is that they can't break my heart, because I never thought they were decent humans in any way.

we lost, we lost all of our Tuesday momentum like it never happened. Just hope the damage can be undone before the midterms but wishful thinking just don't cut it.

I wish they had held on longer. Those that caved, well I have thoughts on them. But those that didn't, I'm proud to have their back.
