The deal to pay people and review the RIFs is already federal law.
The ACA subsidies vote? They have no reason to honor that now.

That means they now know which buttons to push to break Democrats will to fight.

More importantly, they have now broke them twice in a row. Do you really think that Democrats will let the government shut down a third time at the end of January? Hell no. They mean Republicans will get everything they want because Democrats will not risk another shutdown for no other reason then to avoid the embarrassment of when we cave for a third time.

55. So if the longest fight over a shutdown is not fighting hard
Mon Nov 10, 2025, 03:37 AM
Nov 2025

then closing a government over something is not a fight at all.
Is that what you are saying?
You would not use length as a measure of it?
So the shortest and the longest are the same?
You think that the party that closed the government is thought about the same way on the first day as the 60th?
Length, even historic length, doesnt matter.
So then why comment on here at all as this is about criticism of our senate leader over the government not opening.

I would argue that the only winning for us was showing the American populace that we were willing to fight for this like no one had ever fought for something during a shutdown.
We did that.
A historically long effort.
I did not expect in any way that the republican party was going to cave in.
They do not give a fuck.
Do you agree with that?
If you can argue that giving people health care is more important than feeding people and paying people please do so.
Cause it all kinda seems the same shit.
I certainly cant argue the opposite is in any way good.
