(4,491 posts)14. My three grands were the ultimate joy while growing up, so was my son.
Somehow, they all turned into grown-ups. They are still the joys of my life, but not nearly as much fun.
Plus, my two gdaughters gave me hand-me-ups until they outgrew me. I did enjoy their designer jeans. They fit better than Levis.

The ultra-rich do not use public transportation, like the airlines.

small one to hop 15 miles, larger one to go farther with friends.

(26,215 posts)16. That is true. Plus helicopters.
A friend of mine was the chief pilot for a well known communications company that had several Gulfstream 5 jets, a couple of smaller Hawker (Bae 800) jets, several King Airs around the world (including Australia), and helicopters at various frequently visited locations.
