So what happens in January?

I read that most of the funding in the CR only goes through the end of January, except SNAP which goes through September. What happens then? Any thoughts?

If they extend it they will debate costs vs. tax increases vs. benefits cuts. Work requirements are not going to fly in this economy. If history is any guide they will not enact higher deductibles since no one can pay them, so they'll abandon some segments of the population by exempting them from coverage. Adult men first in line to be kicked off ACA.
