Whether tampered, destroyed or maybe they’ve been a big MacGuffin all along.
Something so incriminating seems unlikely to be hiding in a DOJ file cabinet.
I don’t know if we’ll ever know. Hope I’m wrong.
Where are the witnesses and victims? Scared/threatened/paidoff?
