Bigger news is that the NY Giants fired their head coach

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Lasher (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Finally!! Kind of a bummer that that momentous news had to be overshadowed by the "deal", but as they say, "Any port in a storm." Pardon me and call me shallow, but I still want to toss some confetti.

at Metlife a few years ago at the Eagles game! I don't have season tickets anymore (moved to North Carolina) but those Eagle games were the only ones where the fans had to wear helmets!

My son was a Cowboy fan back in the days of Emmett Smith who I remember beating the Giants with one arm (the other dislocated) in a game. Then the Giants started beating them and he was converted to the true faith. Those were the days!

He couldn't blame his QB anymore, and that QB is showing him it wasn't the QBs fault. Oddly the man was supposed to be a QB friendly coach.

Oops, this is in GD so politics is allowed.

Teams fire underperforming leaders, no matter how good they are. Times and strategies change.

Compare the cheering crowds that Chuck gets (zero) with the Bernie and AOC tour of the US, deep red districts included, or Mamdani's thunderous reception.

I stuck with Joe because he 100% stuck up for us. Chuck just sticks it ...
