Schumer et al

knew that they were going to cave, and only waited until after Tuesday's election to do it, because they knew it would not go over well with the electorate.

Congratulations Democratic senators - not just the 8 who voted for it, but those others who were behind the scenes fomenting the cave - and yes, that is Schumer and others who were even too cowardly to vote for what they wanted to happen.
