Trump Says We Need H-1B Visas for Foreign Workers Because American Workers Aren't Talented Enough

Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox on Tuesday that the H-1B foreign worker program is needed in the U.S. because American workers aren't talented enough. When asked about getting rid of the H-1B visa program because it gives American jobs to workers from overseas, Trump said that foreign companies aren't going to invest in companies with American workers.

"Does that mean the H-1B visa thing will not be a big priority for your administration. Because if you wanna raise wages for American workers, you can't flood the country with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands or foreign workers," Fox host Laura Ingraham asked Trump.

"Well I agree, but we also do have to bring in talent," Trump answered.

"We have plenty of talented people here," Ingraham responded.

It all goes back to Dubya (no shining light himself) and the institution of the testing program. Teachers stopped actually teaching and started "teaching to the test". Critical thinking skills went by the board. That was bad enough to begin with, but then Covid happened, and kind of along with that, the so-called "parental rights" movement, also supported by RepubliKKKans, which started the book-banning and also questioning exactly WHAT teachers were teaching in the classrooms. Now, "is our kids learning?" Well, hardly. Not unless their parents encourage them to defy all this crap and go learn for themselves, which only educated parents are likely to do. Hence, the dumbing down of America.
