As near as I can tell today is the deadline to

fully fund SNAP. However I wouldn't be a bit surprised if all recipients don't see the money for days yet. I can envision Crumb the 1st and his fascists making excuses like "processing delayed while staffing ramps back up", "review of funding already given is taking more time" etc.

Furthermore it wouldnt surprise me if they just take this opportunity to eliminate it altogether like they've been dreaming to do for decades.

Eight Senate Democrats caving in, because they’re panicking doesn’t portray a party firm in conviction or even showing its up to the task of dealing with a whack-a-mole strategist like trump.

The circuit court ruled - which triggered Justice KBJ's 48-hour clock... but the administration ran back to SCOTUS, which (over KBJ's objection) extended the pause becasue the political branch was close to resolving the issue (which is now moot).
