The workers were in detention for a week; they were mistreated, cut off from the outside, and were kept in harsh and degrading conditions with no privacy to use the toilets.
Roughly 200 workers, including a man identified as Kim, are accusing ICE of unlawful detention, racial profiling, human rights violations and excessive use of force. The raid targeted a joint Hyundai MotorLG Energy Solution EV battery factory under construction near Savannah, Georgia.
