Trump named him Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

Pulte shows his servitude to Trump by going through confidential mortgage records of Trump's political enemies and stirring up trouble for them.

In the Watergate years it was known as "Rat F**ing."

You can imagine how eagerly they are breaching privacy and violating the trust of the American People over at the IRS.

Less of Trump!

2. Bet it's another "he rented a second home" bullshit

I'm not fully up on it, but there were changes in rules about being able to rent a property you have a mortgage on as a "second home." Something about it needing to be available to you for at least half the year or some shit.

Imagine all the time and tax dollars Pulte is spending on having minions gathering and combing through the records of every person trump hates -- all to piece together some "gotcha" technical violation at some point in the life of a loan.

I sure wish taxpayers could sue for wasting our tax dollars on this shit, not to mention how our tax dollars are being spent on defending the felon against crimes he is committing against US.

And who's to say or know how long the second homes are rented? Or the circumstances surrounding the rental? They could be doing someone a favor who needs a temporary residence for whatever reason.

The Fraudster in Chief is the most hypocritical sumbich to have ever defaced the Office of the President.

6. Oh geez. Even if proven, call for a contractual remedy or IRS audit. Don't bring this penny-ante "crime"

Rules on primary residence are all over the place in mortgages. For tax purposes, things may have changed but you used to just need to demonstrate the property was owner-occupied for two of the last five years for capital gains exception. And if you are audited and can't show it, pay the money and penalties.

4. MaddowBlog-Trump official refers Eric Swalwell to the Justice Dept., adding to a radical list

The Trump administration's campaign to weaponize mortgage fraud allegations against the president’s perceived political enemies has a new target.

Trump demands prosecutions of those who opposed or successfully prosecuted him. And his corrupt DOJ leadership team rushes to fulfill his criminal desires.

With this in mind, few will be surprised by this new report from NBC News.

A top housing official in President Donald Trump’s administration has referred California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell to the Justice Department for a potential federal criminal probe, based on allegations of mortgage and tax fraud related to a Washington, D.C., home, according to a person familiar with the referral. He is the fourth Democratic official to face mortgage fraud allegations in recent months.

.....Indeed, Bill Pulte, the Trump loyalist who leads the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), has taken it upon himself to target one White House foe after another. NBC News’ report added, “Pulte previously sent criminal referrals to the Justice Department for two other prominent Democratic critics of Trump, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., as well as Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook — who was nominated by then-President Joe Biden — on allegations of mortgage fraud.”

All of Pulte’s targets have denied wrongdoing. What’s more, Pulte himself is at the center of his own scandal, after having fired internal watchdogs who reportedly raised concerns about improperly accessing the mortgage records of Trump’s foes.

.....The high-profile Democratic lawmaker, rumored to be eyeing a gubernatorial campaign in the Golden State, concluded, “As Mark Twain said, ‘Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.’ Mr. President, do better. Be better.”

Whether Trump’s Justice Department intends to do anything with Pulte’s referral remains to be seen. Watch this space.
