Real Whine with Bill Maher continues its 23rd season Friday, November 14 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/7:00-8:00 p.m. PT), with a replay at 12:05 a.m., exclusively on HBO.
This week features a one-on-one interview with Megyn Kelly, journalist and podcaster, (who Bill thinks he has a good shot with after the show so hes not going to push back on anything she says) discussing how the MeToo movement is out of control for accusing Jeffrey Epstein and Hugh Hefner of being sexual predators.
This week's in-studio panel will include Greg Gutfeld, political commentator, comedian, and host of the late-night talk show Gutfeld!, (which really isnt a late-night show since is airs at 10PM but describing it as a late-night show allows he and Bill to make several BS comparisons to the network shows that air at 11:35); and John Fetterman, United States senator from Pennsylvania (Bill like to have conservative Democrats on so he can pretend to be fair), joining Bill for a discussion on why its a terrible idea to release the Epstein files and how doing so proves Democrats are out of touch with real working class Americans.

(2,693 posts)What's the point? it's meant to be a joke, then say so. I believed it.
Thank you for telling us about this. I will only trust Rhiannon 12866 from now on. My comments about disliking Maher still stand, though.

(2,693 posts)but that the guests were real. I didn't realize the whole thing was satire. I'm sorry for misinterpreting your intention and I sincerely hope my comments didn't offend you in any way.
In my case, it was clearly a reader problem, not a writer problem.

(2,693 posts)I wouldn't watch this one since I have no desire to listen to what either Megyn Kelly or John Fetterman have to say about anything. Especially Megyn Kelly. Why is she even still around? I guess there are those who like her, but I don't see why. I just don't think there is anything about her to like.

(32,354 posts)I'm sure Maher will really nail Megyn Kelly for those filthy remarks of hers---about 15-year-old girls being fair game for pedophiles (yeah, sure he will). And was his Fetterman spectacle filmed at an earlier date---or will Fetterman's injuries from that fall keep him from appearing? Not that I give much of a shit---I haven't wasted time watching Maher for many years, and I'm damn sure not making an exception to that, now.
(And I can't imagine a better use of my 32,000th DU post than trashing Bill Maher. Appreciate the opportunity to do so.)

(27 posts)Sigh. This individual does this every Friday and thinks they are tremendously clever. They are not.
Rhiannon has Mahers real guests, Scott Galloway, Josh Barro, and Fareed Zakaria.
If youre going to trash someone, at least dont lie about them, or youre really no better than Trump.

(10,967 posts)It was never funny.
Imagine lying in wait every Friday morning to mock a DUer within minutes of a post.

(10,967 posts)Formatted exactly the same as the DUer's post and posted literally within minutes of that DUer every single week, as if they're waiting for it.
Maher can be mocked by a billion other means.
It's just Mean Girls things.
Politics do not immunize personality alas.
