It's about the other names that come up. It wasn't just Trump. It's disheartening to see how the elite continued to contact Epstein in the days he was incarcerated. I'm getting a picture of a fraternal order of the rich and famous. So, what happens when we see the big picture? Powerful, wealthy people whose business ties are bonded by blackmail. That's what I suspect we'll find. And when someone is blackmailed, it doesn't seem to be a once and done. It looks like they become a trusted member of this despicable social order where wealth begets wealth.
Now, keeping that in mind, doesn't this make Trump's redistribution of taxpayer money to the wealthy, even more damning?
In sum, I hope we can focus on this deviant and dysfunctional social order when the time comes to tax the billionaires. Their society embraces the worst of human nature, and we just can't survive with them dicking us around anymore.

(55,133 posts)but few Americans are very skilled at making do, doing without, production for home use, repair and substitution. Pay yourself first instead of rushing for the latest baubles is a great idea. But so many things we have no choice.

(14,272 posts)I remember movie called Billionaire Boys Club and it was about some young guys who wanted the status and wealth just above their heads. Being unscrupulous was part and parcel.
I think we have a Billionaire Boys Club for real.

(24,207 posts)Over a thousand mentions in the report, that's crazy. Trump is a child rapist, he and Epstein shared the same appetite. They trafficked girls to each other, that is clear as day.
