Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Trump Of ‘Gaslighting’ Americans On Prices

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene continues attacking her own Republican Party — and she isn’t showing signs of slowing down.

President Donald Trump has made it a point to spew lies regarding inflation and grocery prices, and Greene addressed these claims on “The Sean Spicer Show” on Thursday.

“President Trump and his administration does deserve a lot of credit for lowering inflation and holding it steady, but that doesn’t bring prices down, and so gaslighting the people and trying to tell them that prices have come down is not helping, it’s actually infuriating people,” Greene told the former White House press secretary.

Greene added that the Trump administration cannot pull the wool over the American people’s eyes.

Greene says Trump's stance on Epstein files is "huge miscalculation"

Washington — Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Friday that President Trump's opposition to releasing files from the federal investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is a "huge miscalculation." In an exclusive interview on "CBS Mornings," Greene said she doesn't believe the president has anything to hide, noting that some of Epstein's victims have said Mr. Trump "has done nothing wrong."

Greene, of Georgia, was among the four House Republicans who joined all Democrats in signing on to a discharge petition that forces a vote in the House on a measure compelling the Justice Department to release materials related to its probe into Epstein. The vote is expected next week.

Mr. Trump has slammed the focus on Epstein as a "hoax" pushed by Democrats to deflect the blame for the government shutdown, which was the longest in U.S. history and ended Wednesday.

"Some Weak Republicans have fallen into their clutches because they are soft and foolish," he wrote on Truth Social on Friday. "Epstein was a Democrat, and he is the Democrat's problem, not the Republican's problem! Ask Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, and Larry Sommers about Epstein, they know all about him, don't waste your time with Trump. I have a Country to run!"

The last 3 years (presuming nothing will happen in the next 46 days to change '25) were 3.4%, 2.9%, & 3.0%.
So, he did indeed preside over an increasing inflation rate.
Not much of an increase, but the exact opposite of lowering it, which is what she claimed.

A South Korean solar company says it will temporarily reduce pay and working hours for about 1,000 of its 3,000 employees in Georgia because U.S. customs officials have been detaining imported components needed to make solar panels.

Qcells, a unit of South Korea's Hanwha Solutions, said Friday that it will also lay off 300 workers from staffing agencies at its plants in Dalton and Cartersville, both northwest of Atlanta.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced in August that her department was stepping up enforcement of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, a 2021 law that restricts Chinese goods made with forced labor from entering the U.S. Published reports indicate that U.S. officials began detaining solar cells made by Qcells in June.

Qcells says none of its materials or components are made with forced labor or even come from China. Spokesperson Marta Stoepker said the company maintains "robust supply chain due diligence measures" and "very detailed documentation," which has been successful in getting some shipments released.
