AZ-GOV: Hobbs neck and neck with potential GOP rivals in Arizona governor's race: Poll

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) is polling neck and neck with several of her potential Republican rivals in the Arizona governor’s race, according to a survey published Friday.

An Emerson College Polling survey released Friday shows Hobbs essentially tied with two of her potential Republican challengers in different hypothetical match-ups.

In one hypothetical match-up between Hobbs and developer Karrin Taylor Robson, Hobbs receives 43 percent support, while Taylor Robson receives 42 percent, which is well within the 3.3-point margin of error. Close to 15 percent say they’re undecided.

In another hypothetical match-up between Hobbs and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Hobbs receives 44 percent, while Biggs receives 43 percent, and close to 13 percent say they’re undecided, leaving the two statistically tied.

I’m not too worried- Hobbs has been a solid governor, and a year from now, the economy will be in recession. Would Arizonans trust Biggs to guide the state through an economic crisis?
