As much as I may agrre with what is expressed, all I can think of is how Hitch would feel about this, and I don't think he'd like it.

I really don't know about Hitch, but the Christopher Htichens I am familiar with reveled in goring sacred oxen. I am sure that he would understand that we are engaged in an existential war with the Know Nothings and MAGAts for the hearts, minds and soul of America. He would have considered any weapon as fair in that battle. If someone wanted to borrow his persona in order to present erudite and intelligent commentary on the subject, I doubt that he would have objected. He might have looked at it with his usual dry wit and smiled.

You say that while you agrre (sic) with what is expressed, you don't think Hitch he would have liked it. Your title is, "can't watch this...". That seems to imply that you didn't watch it. I'm curious, did you actually listen to it in its entirety? I would find it very ironic if you hadn't listened, yet you expressed that opinion. Hitchens would definitely have found that state of affairs unacceptable.

Look, I'm in the music business and I have strong feelings about AI and "borrowing" someone's voice, even if it is satire. I love Hitchens, and I wish he were here, still with us to make sense of all the crazy, but not like this. ...just my two cents.
