A Texas trooper who confronted South Carolina’s Nyck Harbor after the player’s touchdown on Saturday was sent home from the game, according to the state’s Department of Public Safety.

Harbor scored on an 80-yard reception in the second quarter and entered the tunnel after the score, appearing to walk off a leg injury. As he and three of his teammates, including running back Oscar Adaway III, were walking back to the field, the trooper walked in between Harbor and Adaway and bumped into them.

Intentionally walked between them and shoulder checked them and then turned around and had something to say about it. POS needs to be fired.

for gameday is a pretty cushy job with a lot of cool perks.

Getting dropped from that detail and put outside working gameday traffic is a pretty good punishment.

at the very least, he should get a written reprimand in his personnel jacket.
Personally, I think he should be terminated, but that's not up to me to decide.

When all the talking heads get to work on Monday, this thing will metastasize.

That man’s eventually going to lose his job.

And he should.

He should receive a suspension (at a minimum) without pay. He was a blatant asshole in that encounter.

I remember a time when the Texas DPS was respected - long, long time ago. This guy is a disgrace.
