In Aug 2025 AFGE union contracts with VA were terminated.
No more collective bargaining allowed at the VA

Once the contribution for Part B (and E,F,G,X,Y,Z) takes enough out-of-pocket to reach the number private insurers want, they'll decide "Medicare For All" is wonderful. And by that point, standard subsidized Medicare won't cover much more than band-aids.
