10. I'm curious enough that I'll have to read what's known about it...

Having been a female in a male-dominated profession, I can't help but identify with the poor mentee. Or, for that matter with any female former Summers mentee. I can't imagine being in a situation where anyone who knows your professional background (i.e. that Summers was your mentor) is wondering if you got your experience/recommendations because your mentor wanted to sleep with you. And if you are that mentee, knowing that Summers was getting advice about pursuing you from a now-famous sex criminal would be quite chilling.
