When Biden's term ended there was an open investigation by SDNY which had spoken to over 50 victims and had mountains of evidence, considering prosecution of others in the case. Trump's DOJ took them off the case, took all the files and then closed the investigation. SDNY'd investigation was legitimate. Trump's investigation is a farce.

The DOJ had an active investigation going on into 2025. That’s when the DOJ under Pam Bondi (and Trump) declared the investigation was over.
