And to think people got upset when Garland crossed his T’s and dotted his i’s instead of rushing at light speed to present to a grand jury to get an indictment, which would later be dismissed with prejudice (meaning charges can’t be refiled) as is almost certain to be the case with Comey’s charges.

They actually prove that an investigation was launched while Trump was still in office, and that Garland created a dedicated team to investigate Trump in June 2021.

The “resistance” mentioned in the titles of those articles came not from Garland, but from pro-Trump career employees at DOJ and FBI. Despite that resistance, interference, and delay from Trumpers in the agencies, Garland persevered, fought privilege claims in the courts, got search warrants, and gathered air tight, solid evidence so that when his team became Smith’s team, they could hit the ground running and finish the job.

Jack Smith started on third base thanks to Garland.

But this thread about Halligan rushing incompetently to the Grand Jury, no T’s crossed, which will result in Comey’s charges being dropped, and Halligan likely getting disbarred.
