During Covid, there was a rush by congress members to grab loans and other assistance

Not that covid is over by a long shot, but during the peak under Krasnov a lot of tax payer money was handed over to members of congress.

Loans were made, tiny companies were paid to keep their staff employed, tax payer money became congress member money and it was a bit of an issue, especially because Republicans didn't want to forgive student loans while taking a forgiveness to the loans they took out. There were questions about the numbers but it all got swept away. Krasnov was in charge and the loot was large.

Now it looks like maybe some of this is coming out,

I am not judging this incitement as truth since it is pretty clear now that our current Justice department is quite willing to make things up. An indictment from Bondi has no weight as far as I am concerned. Perhaps it goes the other way. You get Bondi's attention when you are doing the right thing. Fastest way to anger the White House these days is to ask reasonable questions, seek the truth or defend the weak.

This is one of ours, but if the accusation is true, then this isn't one of ours that we want. Since Krasnov's Justice Department prioritizes politics over justice, I am wondering if this is a signal to Republican representatives, that they have compromat on them and it could be expensive if they don't continue following orders as usual. They could be socked hard if someone compared employees listed to employees paid. It money didn't properly go to keep things going or provide relief, that debt could become unforgiven, and jail time might suddenly be on the table.

Bondi is in a position where she can selectively and openly pursue justice, while sending a clear message to politicians. The message is of course, "You were bought and paid for. When we say, jump, jump."

The message I want our representatives and future representatives to know is that they can't afford to be compromised. If they do what the Republicans do, the real thieves will use it to their advantage. There is a very real reason why Republicans seem to just get worse and worse. Compromat can turn a weak, greedy person into a monster's minion.
