Now that the US Coast Guard

is basically cool with their personnel displaying swastikas and nooses in their lockers, on their desks etc. they have said that the swastika isn't a hate symbol but is only "potentially divisive".

I see. Apparently the agencies of the various US government departments will now be free to change any references to Hitler to "a potentially controversial leader" and Pol Pot as "a leader with a determined view about population control."
