Watch for republicans realizing their own political ability, apart from the president they've been steady protecting

Watch out for a burst of productive assholery that is the republican agenda, their members breaking away from the obsequious politics of letting Trump act as the speaker of their house and the majority leader of their senate; knee-scraping subservience that's resulted in them stalling out their own budget bill that they allowed themselves to be convinced they could advance on their own votes, listening to an unpopular president lame ducking a child sex scandal.

Watch for them to discover governing, which is much more of a challenge for Democrats than just throwing popcorn and peanuts at this clown show in a circus that came to town.

As we just saw, picking off a handful of Democrats, which has always been the game in the senate for filibuster-shy republican majorities, isn't out of reach for them.

The opportunity for Democrats isn't necessarily a slam-dunk revelation from the Epstein files, it's the weakening of the majority party and the White House in the polls that our party can advantage on every issue, along with the high distrust in the President that goes along with the personal scandals.

Republicans' loss of clout defending Trump is a political wedge that's going to disadvantage those peeling away from the WH distraction machine, only to be caught in their own neglected and aggravated politics driving up the cost of living and driving down jobs.

They're the party of regressive tariffs and massive job cuts, many directly due to their elimination of federal resources which supported communities and states. They're also the party of the explosion in health insurance premiums for millions who rely on ACA subsidies for vital medical care while severely cutting funding Medicare and Medicaid.

And, they're also the party of excess with their president hosting them for lavish parties at the WH and Maralago, adorning the people's house in gaudy gold; and tearing down public monuments to build statues to himself; as well as a wing of the WH to erect a grand, gilded ballroom to fete and feed the rich and powerful in his orbit seeking to get into our nation's pocket.

It'll only be a minute before the multi-millionaire republican christofascist cultists realize they've freed themselves from their own sycophancy. Hopefully, by that time, we'll be well on the way to advantaging this political opportunity to making them a minority again.
