1. I'm an attorney and have done mostly trial with some appellate experience.

And trust me . . . . very few things are as humiliating as a judge dressing you down.

And it isn't necessarily the fear of contempt of court or an ethics review. You feel like the first day of law school and you gave the most uninformed, insipid answer in front of 200 people. You dread returning to face the judge again.

And yeah, you get over it. But it sucks.
